Horse Knowledge - Level 1

This is a two section course that includes topics such as: proper grooming, teeth, hoof care, how to feed, differences in bits, anatomy, leading, measuring height, trailering, and markings. An equine log book is highly recommended to take notes in for future reference.

Trail Riding Basics

This course is designed to increase trail riding safety and introduce trail etiquette. Horses are a prey animal and process information differently than we do. Equipping yourself with some basic knowledge will increase your safety and make your trail experience more enjoyable.
