Mounted Archery Ground One

This course will give you a strong foundation of the basics for mounted archery. You don't even need a horse to get started. You'll learn equipment, techniques, and master the thumb release.

Horse Knowledge - Level 1

This is a two section course that includes topics such as:  proper grooming, teeth, hoof care, how to feed, differences in bits, anatomy, leading, measuring height, trailering, and markings.  An equine log book is highly recommended to take notes in for future reference.

From the Saddle

This is a three section course:  general horsemanship, obstacles, and ranch dressage.  The first course is needed before or at the same time as the other courses for technique terminology.

Trail Riding Safety & Etiquette

This course is designed to increase trail riding safety and introduce trail etiquette. Horses are a prey animal and process information differently than we do. Equipping yourself with some basic knowledge will increase your safety and make your trail experience more enjoyable.
